About Composr: Bulk Text Sender
Need to reach dozens of people with the same update — without opening a group chat where reply-alls pile up? Composr is a bulk text sender for iPhone that sends your message one person at a time. Each text goes out as a normal iMessage or SMS from your own number, through Apple's Messages app — not a third-party SMS gateway.
Why not just use a group text?
Group threads expose everyone's phone numbers, invite off-topic replies, and make identical copy obvious. Composr keeps every conversation one-on-one. Recipients see a private thread with you, because that is what it is. You write once, personalize with name tokens, pick your contacts, and send each message individually using the native iOS compose sheet.
How it works
Draft your message in Composr and insert tokens like {{firstName}} where you want a personal touch. Select contacts one by one or load a saved group — your client list, team roster, volunteer crew. Tap Send and Composr opens the Messages compose sheet for each recipient in turn. Review or tweak each text before it goes out. You stay in control; every send is a real text from your phone.
A quick example: write “Hey {{firstName}}, our open house is Saturday at 2 — hope you can make it!” Composr prepares “Hey Sarah, our open house…” for Sarah and “Hey Mike, our open house…” for Mike. Same event, separate threads, no group label at the top of anyone's Messages app.

- Is Composr a group texting app?
- No. Composr sends individual texts one at a time. Recipients never join a shared group thread.
- Does Composr send texts from my phone number?
- Yes. Every message uses the built-in iOS Messages app and your number. Composr does not route message content through its own servers.

Privacy
Composr does not relay your message content through third-party servers. Your texts go out through Apple's Messages framework on your iPhone — the same as if you typed them yourself.
